Return & Refund Policy

Summary: We accept returns on most items within 30 days of delivery. Items must be new, unused, and in original packaging with tags/accessories. Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the item is defective, damaged, or we shipped the wrong product—then we provide a prepaid label or reimburse reasonable postage. Refunds are typically issued within 3–5 business days after inspection. See full details below.

Return Window

  • Most items are eligible for return within 30 days of delivery.
  • Items must be new, unused, unwashed, and returned in the original packaging with all tags/accessories included.
  • Footwear must be tried on indoors only and returned in the original shoe box (box placed inside an outer mailer).

Items Not Eligible for Return

  • Final-sale or clearance items marked “Final Sale” (including select Dock Drops deals).
  • Opened beauty/cosmetic items, earrings/body jewelry, undergarments, and swimwear without the hygiene liner intact.
  • Personalized/monogrammed items or items customized after purchase.
  • Gift cards.

How to Start a Return

  1. Email our crew at support@thedockdrop.com with your order number and a brief note about the issue.
  2. We’ll send a return authorization (RMA) and the correct return address. Returns without an RMA may be refused.
  3. Pack your item securely and include your RMA inside the parcel. Please use a trackable service and keep your receipt.
Return Shipping: Customers are responsible for return shipping on change-of-mind, fit, or preference returns. If your order arrived damaged/defective or we shipped the wrong item, we’ll provide a prepaid return label or reimburse reasonable return postage.

Original shipping charges (including upgrades or vendor-applied fees) are non-refundable.
Dock Drop Partnership™ Items: Some products ship directly from our trusted vendors and may include a shipping fee shown at checkout. These items follow the same 30-day return window and condition requirements unless otherwise noted on the product page.

Exchanges

The fastest way to get the right item is to place a new order for the size/color you want and return the original for a refund. If you’d prefer a traditional exchange, contact us—we can hold inventory for up to 7 days after your request (subject to availability).

Refunds

  • Once your return is delivered and inspected, refunds are typically issued within 3–5 business days to your original payment method.
  • Your bank or card issuer may take an additional 3–10 business days to post the credit.
  • Original shipping charges (including upgrades or vendor-applied fees) are non-refundable.
  • Items returned used, worn, washed, or missing parts/tags may be declined or issued a partial refund.

Damaged or Defective Items

If your order arrives damaged or defective, please email support@thedockdrop.com within 7 days of delivery with photos of the issue and the packaging. We’ll make it right with a replacement or refund wherever applicable.

Order Changes & Cancellations

We move fast to get your order sailing. If you need to change or cancel, email us at support@thedockdrop.com as soon as possible. We’ll do our best, but changes aren’t guaranteed after fulfillment begins.

International Returns

At this time, return shipping from outside the U.S. is the customer’s responsibility. Please contact us for instructions before sending anything back.
