Remember, Some Items Are Not Allowed On a Ship!

Perhaps I'm the odd duck here, but before every cruise I spend hours and hours on YouTube learning everything I can about the ship that I'm about to be on for the better part of a week. I take pride in knowing the amenities and the layout of the ship. I feel comfortable with what is where and how to navigate myself around the ship long before I step foot on her. Likewise, I also review the ins and outs of the rules for the cruise line so that I know what is allowed and what isn't allowed. There are somethings that you might not consider that are not allowed. Most ships are similar with what you can bring on board and what you can't.

For Royal Caribbean this list includes items like:

Clothing Irons

Candles

Incense

Hookahs

Fishing Rods

Blenders

Some of these things you might not have thought about, even though they do make sense. You can see the full list below.

Always research your ship and the cruise line's policies before you go. It would be a shame to not have something that you thought that you would and end up having to throw something away when you embark. This seems like a no brainer, but I think that it's important information to get out there especially for first timers. There is a lot of information and things to get done before your trip, and it can get overwhelming. I hope that this information helps.

As always have a great trip and enjoy your cruise!
